DOS-COSMOS®

Presents fields of activities in the line of targets designed by:

OECD 2012:

The need for actions on the following fields:
Sustainable Material Management
Making better use of Resources
Effective and broad recycling

The size of the world economy is expected to double and world population to increase by one -third by 2030. With rising income and living standards, global consumption of fossil fuels, minerals, metals, timber, and food crops is also increasing, generating pressures on natural resources and environment.

The total volume material resources extracted or harvested worldwide reached nearly 60 billion metric tonnes per year in 2007, a 65% increase from 1980 and an estimated 8 fold increase over the last century.

Protecting resources by using simple and/or sophisticated recycling methods of the following processes:

CARBOFER ®

Fe-recycling quota nearly 98%

FERALL ®

production of alloy pigs / ingots from waste and/or by-products for the re-use in steel Production

PLAFER ®

replacing of carbon of up to 20% by plastics, rubber, wood, in using blast furnaces as a recycling vessel. Recovery of non-ferrous metals out of ASR

CARBOSHRED ®

treatment of ASR - Automotive Shredder Residues

Worldbank:

Climate Change Report (2012) warns of dramatically warmer World this Century
WB report warns the world is on track to a "4°C world" marked by extreme heat-waves and life-threatening sea level rise.

Moreover, adverse effects of a warming climate are "titled against many of the world’s poorest regions" and likely to undermine development efforts and global development goals, says the study by the Potsdam Institute for Climate   Impact Research and Climate Analysis on behalf of Worldbank. The report urges "further mitigation action as the best insurance against an uncertain future".

A 4°C warmer world can, and must be avoided – we need to hold warming below 2 °C.

Lowering / capturing  CO
2 emissions by using the process:

CODE CO2®

And in combination with this process using

B.O.M.®

for the production of an organic mineral fertilizer based merely to 100% on waste products.

Less Landfill
